Carrie Tingley Hospital (CTH):
A specialized hospital in Albuquerque that offers a variety of multidisciplinary clinics. Children ages 0 through 21 years are eligible for services at the hospital.

Centennial Community Care:
Centennial Care is the name of the New Mexico Medicaid program with services provided by four managed care organizations (MCOs). These services include physical health, behavioral health, long-term care, and community benefits.
- Centennial Care Community Benefit offers services for members who qualify for nursing facility services but want to live at home. This program is an alternative option to placement in a nursing facility. The Community Benefit is not available for 24-hour care. This benefit
supplements your natural supports.
- Centennial Care Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) provide Community Benefit. It is based on your needs.
- Centennial Care members who meet a nursing facility level of care may qualify to receive Community Benefit.

Children’s Medical Services (CMS):
A program under the NMDOH Public Health Division. CMS social workers assist with coordinating health, medical and other community resources/services for children or youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) birth to 21 years of age. They host over 130 pediatric outreach clinics for CYSHCN. They work with UNM hospital and other local specialty providers to help you access care if you live in a rural part of the state.

UNM Health Specialty Clinics:
At UNM Health, adults with developmental, physical and neurological disabilities get compassionate, life-long care from specially trained providers. Visit one of our specialty clinics throughout Albuquerque for consultations, evaluations, care, or treatment.
Neurology Clinics: UNM Health operates several neurology clinics throughout New Mexico. The Neurology Consultation Clinic is a weekly clinic for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This clinic specializes in seizure disorders, headaches, and dementia evaluation.

Visit the Adult Neurology/Vagal Nerve Stimulator in Roswell or the Adult Neurology Clinic in Clovis for treatment of seizure disorders or developmental disabilities. The Roswell clinic is held every other month at the Eastern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Center in Roswell, NM.

Special Needs Clinics: We offer an adult special needs clinic in Albuquerque and in Valencia County. The Albuquerque clinic specializes in complex situations which require diagnostic clarification, addressing medical care questions or assistance with support systems. Patients must complete an intake over the phone or in person before being scheduled in the clinic. This clinic is offered twice a month at the UNM Family Practice Building. The Adult Special Needs Clinic in Valencia County is a quarterly offering to assist primary care physicians treating adults with developmental disabilities. Patients must be evaluated before attending the clinic.

Developmental Disabilities and Mental Illnesses (DDMI) Clinics: DDMI clinics are held on a recurring basis in Roswell, Shiprock, Taos, Silver City and Las Cruces. They are available for those who have cooccurring developmental disabilities and mental illnesses.

The NM SAFE Program (Supports and Assessment for Feeding and Eating) evaluates feeding abilities in children and adults with developmental disabilities. The SAFE team includes a registered dietitian, physical therapist, physician, and speech pathologist with expertise in swallowing disorders.
Evaluations are available at the Albuquerque clinic or at selected community-based sites. We also use interactive videoconferencing through the telemedicine network. If needed, we can provide assistive eating utensils. We will create an instructional video for you to take home too.

988: The 24/7 Lifeline for Emotional, Mental, or Substance Misuse Support:
988 is a free nationwide helpline for emotional, mental or substance use crisis. It is for people in distress to have “someone to call, someone to come and somewhere to go”. 988 calls, texts and chats are answered by trained, compassionate behavioral health professionals who know community mental health and substance use resources. They will listen, offer support and work together with the caller to develop a plan for safety and recovery.

Albuquerque Family Mental Health Clinic:
Programs that provide walk-in, walk-out diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents and/or adults who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders but do not need 24-hour care; and/or provide counseling services for individuals, couples, families and extended family groups who may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations such as separation, divorce, widowhood, loss of a child, poor health, unemployment, family violence, delinquency or substance abuse.
