What We Do

The Arc of New Mexico is one of the largest state chapters in terms of staff and budget offering a variety of services and programs to individuals and family members.

Since 1955 The Arc New Mexico has been on the front lines in making change happen for people diagnosed with AutismDown syndromeFetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and a range of diagnoses across the spectrum of intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc is the nation’s leading advocate for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families and the premier provider of the supports and services people want and need.

Gonzales Trust.

ITS TIME TO APPLY!

The Consuelo Gonzales Trust monies are ready to flow to New Mexicans with Down syndrome. There are three categories for which individuals, families and organizations may apply. The direct support to an individual category would be for items, devices, services, that are not available to the individual through other reimbursed or directly funded insurance. The community living enhancement are for classes/courses/camps that help an applicant meet personal or professional goals. The organizational support category is for innovative programs that benefit New Mexicans with Down syndrome.

Use the Guide to access the request forms. The Gonzales Trust Committee will review requests on a quarterly basis.
