Gonzales Trust

The Isabel Gonzales Trust, established in 2010 and managed by The Arc of New Mexico, invests in opportunities that help individuals with Down syndrome live fuller, more independent lives. Through funding for essential supports, enriching experiences, and innovative resources, the Trust advances inclusion, self-determination, and community participation.

Funding is available year-round, in three categories.
  • Individual Applications: Support for adaptive equipment, communication devices, transportation, home modifications, and other needs not covered by insurance, Medicaid, or waiver services.
  • Community Living Applications: Funding for camps, classes, fitness programs, social and recreational activities, job coaching, tutoring, and other opportunities that foster independence and community inclusion.
  • Organizational Applications: Grants for New Mexico 501(c)(3) organizations developing innovative programs that directly benefit individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Applications are reviewed year-round, and assistance is available throughout the application process. Contact us at gonzales@arcnm.org, or access online applications at the links below.
